Watch our video of Sebastian Barry winning the 2017 Walter Scott Prize for Historical Fiction for his novel Days Without End, at the Borders Book Festival in Melrose on Saturday 17th June 2017.

Sebastian was honoured on stage alongside his co-shortlistees Francis Spufford, Jo Baker and Charlotte Hobson, and the two young winners of the Young Walter Scott Prize creative writing competition.
